Fees and staking

Fastlane charges 0.5% per trade in SOL. 50% goes to $FAST stakers, 30% buys $FAST and burns it, 20% goes to the author of the shared launcher used.

50% stakers30% buy and burn20% authorno shared launcher, or you are its author: the 20% goes to stakers (70% total)

The fee

0.5% of the SOL side of each trade: the SOL in for a buy, the minimum SOL out for a sell, the first buy for a launch. It is a SOL transfer to the fee key inside the trade's own transaction, followed by a Memo naming the shared launcher's author. A trade that fails pays no fee, because the transfer fails with it.

The split

A keeper runs every hour. It reads every record on the fee key, counts each fee for the lamports that really arrived, and pays out: the author's 20% once it reaches 0.001 SOL, the stakers' 50% pro rata once the pool reaches 0.005 SOL, and the burn's 30% once it reaches 0.002 SOL, swapped for $FAST on Jupiter and destroyed with a Token-2022 burn. Each payout is its own transaction with a Memo and pays its own 0.000005 SOL network fee. Until $FAST is live, the stakers' and burn shares stay on the fee key and an hourly accrue Memo records them.

Staking

Staking has no program: you send $FAST to the stake key with a fastlane v1 stake Memo, from the stake page. The stake key holds it, so it is custody by a machine key with every move on chain. Unstake is a fastlane v1 unstake Memo; the keeper returns your full stake within the hour with an unlock Memo. Payouts go to the address that staked.
